Channel IT keeps On the Move moving!

Channel IT’s outsourced management capabilities played a vital role in assisting one of our clients to focus on their core business, whilst maintaining and growing an existing revenue stream.

Corporate TLS Pty Ltd (which now trades as On the Move) was originally a Telstra Licensed Store in suburban Melbourne, supplying mobile phone and related equipment.

On The Move radically altered its core business to moving homes and offices and engaged Channel IT to run the now secondary business of communications supplies so it could focus on its new core business of “moving” people.

Channel IT is now responsible for managing staff, financials and reporting, supplier relationships, stock, customers, and all business and channel development activities. Every month Channel IT provides On the Move with profit and loss, lead and prospect reports, supplier updates, and business progress summaries.

So far the results have been overwhelmingly positive with Channel IT maintaining the vital relationship with Telstra, protecting the existing revenue stream and increasing sales by over 500% from 1Q04 to 3Q04. We have also constructed a financial plan to meet supplier targets over the next 9 months and identified future key products and channels.
